The Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction in the 2024 attempted murder of Army Specialist Tramel T. Westbook in Harvey.

Westbrook was in a parked car near West 148th Street in Harvey when he was “approached and shot multiple times” at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 20, 2024, according to the army statement shared by the Harvey Police Department,

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Army Criminal Investigation Division midcentral field office at 502-898-5296, or submit an anonymous tip online at www.cid.army.mil/tips. The statement said the Army CID reserves the right to award less than the full reward depending on the situation.
