
The Harvey Police Department is investigating alleged incidents of sexual abuse and sexual assault that took place at the UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.
In its statement issued Tuesday, the department said the investigation “may involve multiple victims across various medical facilities.” The department is searching for any additional victims or witnesses who might know anything about the alleged criminal activity.
Harvey police said they are seeking a person of interest who is a white man with a background in healthcare, who “may currently hold or have previously held a position within this facility or at comparable medical institutions,” according to the police statement. He is described as having black hair, brown eyes and a connected mustache and beard, and as appearing in the age range of 37 to 40.
