The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:

  • A 32-year-old man from Aurora was charged with two counts of theft at 9:59 a.m. Aug. 22 at South Route 59 and Liberty Street.
  • A 35-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on a warrant at 6:26 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 2300 block of Sheehan Drive.
  • A 34-year-old woman from Wheaton was arrested on a warrant at 9:27 p.m. Aug. 22 at North Washington Street and East Benton Avenue.
  • A 23-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a license, transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver, failure to yield and driving too fast for conditions at 10:08 p.m. Aug. 22 at South Naper Boulevard and Sara Lane.
  • A 33-year-old man from Carol Stream was arrested on a warrant at 11:25 p.m. Aug. 22 at Aurora Avenue and South Washington Street.
  • A 48-year-old man from Romeoville was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol at 11:53 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 1700 block of Freedom Drive.
  • A 22-year-old man from Westmont was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver at 11:57 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 0 to 100 block of West Van Buren Avenue.
  • A 21-year-old woman from Joliet was arrested on a charge of domestic battery at 1:29 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 0 to 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
  • A 54-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on a charge of possession of a firearm/no valid FOID card on person at 3:25 p.m. Aug. 23 at the police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.
  • A 52-year-old man from Bolingbrook was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license at 1:49 a.m. Aug. 23 at Aurora Avenue and West Ogden Avenue.
