Consider adding a smart notebook to your kids’ backpacks
If you haven’t already started shopping for the new school year, you’ll have to start soon. Traditionally, that means you need to load up on classic supplies like pens, glue sticks, markers, binders and pencils, but what if there was a way to streamline the amount of stuff your kids haul to and from the classroom every day with a single purchase?
Whether you’re shopping a school wish list or stocking up on gear for your kids, consider adding a smart notebook to your haul. These gadgets are the perfect combination of modern technology and old-school methods, making them a great addition to new generations’ arsenal of learning tools.

What are smart notebooks?
Smart notebooks are, essentially, digital notetakers. They are offered in various models and price points, with some starting as low as $13. Some models use a special pen and paper that will record the pressure of your handwriting and then digitize notes via an app. When you need more “paper,” wipe the paper clean and start again. Others are more like tablets that can also act as e-readers.
