The following items were taken from Naperville police reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt:

  • A 28-year-old man from Alsip was arrested on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of 30 to 100 grams of adult use cannabis by a driver in the passenger area of a motor vehicle at 12:48 a.m. May 17 in the 3200 block of Odyssey Court.
  • A 34-year-old Aurora man was arrested on a charge of theft at 5:45 p.m. May 17 at the police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.
  • A 33-year-old man from Aurora was arrested on charges of reckless driving, disobeying a stop sign, squealing or screeching tires, and driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:48 p.m. May 17 at West Van Buren Avenue and Webster Street.
  • A 33-year-old Chicago man was arrested on charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer, possession of adult use cannabis by a passenger in a motor vehicle outside approved container and illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by a passenger in a motor vehicle at 11:09 p.m. May 17 in the 3200 block of Odyssey Court.
  • A 21-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of improper lane usage, following too closely and driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:48 a.m. May 18 at Aurora Avenue and Wild Cherry Road.
  • A 40-year-old Naperville man was arrested on a warrant at 1:08 p.m. May 18 in the 5S00 block of Pebblewood Lane.
  • A 20-year-old man from McHenry was arrested on charges of mob action, criminal damage to property, reckless driving and reckless conduct/causes bodily harm or endangers the safety of another person at 9:53 p.m. May 18 in the 4400 block of West Elm Street in McHenry.
  • A 25-year-old man from Batavia was arrested on charges of burglary, theft and driving without a license at 11:35 a.m. May 19 at West Benton Avenue and South Mill Street.
