Board member Allison Fosdick, board Vice President Susan Demming and board Secretary Supna Jain came in second, third and fourth in both counties, respectively, each hovering between 19% and 22% of the votes.
Allison Albert – who is a business owner, former teacher, parent and resident and the only non-incumbent who ran for a seat – trailed in both counties, with 13.16% of the vote in DuPage and 13.5% of the vote in Will, according to the two counties’ election results.
At a forum last month, Albert had spoken about policy positions like increasing transparency with parents about school programs, addressing the achievement gap in the district and supporting alternative licensing programs for teachers from nontraditional educational backgrounds.
Indian Prairie board members serve four-year terms. Current board members Catey Genc, Mark Rising and Justin Karubas will be up for reelection in 2027, according to the district’s website.
