Aurora’s Hollywood Casino and the city’s Office of Economic Development will be hosting a job fair for the casino on Saturday, March 15, to fill over 50 open positions.
The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Waubonsee Community College’s Aurora Downtown Campus at 18 S. River St., according to a news release. Remarks from city officials and casino executives are set to take place at 9:30 a.m., the release said.
Open positions are available to any level of worker who is eager to learn and is over 21 years old, officials said in the release. Those who attend the job fair can expect day-of interviews and potential on-the-spot job offers, the release said.
Hollywood Casino-Aurora is looking to hire for positions including food and beverage staff, security and surveillance positions, table games and slot attendants as well as dealers, both those who are experienced and those who are willing to go to dealer training school, according to the release. All open positions can be found by clicking on the “careers” tab at: www.HollywoodCasinoAurora.com
The casino is set to offer day-one benefits, paid time off, training and professional growth opportunities, Roth 401(K) benefits and more for full-time and eligible part-time employees, officials said in the release.
Those who plan to attend can streamline their experience by scheduling an interview time and completing an online application, the release said.

The $360 million currently-under-construction new location of the Hollywood Casino-Aurora broke ground in late 2023, and officials said last month that construction is on schedule to open in the first half of 2026, according to past reporting.
The casino resort is expected to have around 1,200 gaming positions, about 220 hotel rooms, a retail sportsbook, an outdoor entertainment area, many bars and restaurants, a full-service spa and a roughly 12,000-square-foot event center with meeting areas.
