With all 600 precincts counted and early voting and mail-in ballots in, three-term DuPage County Coroner Richard Jorgensen appears to have been unseated.
The unofficial vote count, not including mail-in ballots that arrive after Tuesday and provisional ballots, showed the incumbent Republican lagging by about 7,000 votes to challenger Judith Lucas.
The county’s other two incumbents — Circuit Clerk Candice Adams and Auditor William White — appear to be headed to victory as does Liz Chaplin, a former County Board member who bested Nicole Prater.
