A 19-year-old man was arrested this week for the alleged April shooting of a robbery victim in Naperville, police said.
Kanyon J. Hardy, 19, of the 4200 block of West Washington Boulevard in Chicago, faces three counts of felony armed robbery after being taken into custody on a warrant Wednesday by Forest Park police officers, a Naperville Police Department news release said.
Hardy is believed to have fired the gun used in the April 16 robbery in which a 22-year-old Naperville man was shot in the leg at a home in the 2500 block of Leach Drive, the report said. A 16-year-old juvenile has also been arrested on felony aggravated robbery with a firearm charges.
“The preliminary investigation indicated the victim and the offenders knew each other prior to the incident, during which the offenders also allegedly stole cash from the victim,” the news release said.
