Cray-cray for Tay-Tay

Shake off the winter blues and dance to all of Taylor’s greatest hits. There will be Taylor-themed drinks and the Best Dressed Swiftie will win an autographed album. Fresh Flo

Tramar Lacel Dillard, better known by his stage name Flo Rida, is a rapper, singer and songwriter from Miama, Florida. He will perform his hits like “Low,” “Good Feeling,” “Right Round” and “My House.”

Movie Music Magic

“John Williams’ Music Makes the Movies” is at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20 and 3 p.m. Jan. 21 at the McAninch Arts Center at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. Tickets are $53-$55. At 425 Fawell Blvd. 630-942-4000; atthemac.org.

With a cinematic career spanning more than six decades and honors including 24 Grammy Awards, five Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards, John Williams is undeniably one of the greatest composers ever.

New Philharmonic pays tribute to him with a concert featuring many of his most memorable movie themes from “The Empire Strikes Back,” “Memoirs of a Geisha,” “Jaws — Shark Cage Fugue,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” “Fiddler on the Roof” and more.

It’s his party

Puddles Pity Party is at 8 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan. Tickets are $27-$37. At 203 N. Genesee St. 847-263-6300; geneseetheatre.com.

He’s a 7-foot sad clown who performs covers of popular songs like “Royals” and “Chandelier” and was seen on season 12 of “America’s Got Talent” as well as 2020’s “AGT: The Champions.”

Langford does Berwyn

Jon Langford and His Fancymen perform at 8 p.m. Jan. 20 at Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn. Tickets are $20-$150. At 6615 Roosevelt Road. fitzgeraldsnightclub.com.

Langford, of Waco Brothers and Mekons fame, collaborated with songwriters and musicians Alan Doughty, Dan Massey and John Szymanski to create the Fancymen. They are sure to deliver an evening of blistering folk-punk-country-alt-rock. The Handcuffs and The James Dean Joint also perform.
