Historic house tour

Take a holiday tour of the famous Farnsworth House at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. Dec. 22-23 at the Edith Farnsworth House Historic Site in Plano. Tickets are $35. At 14520 River Road. 630-552-0052; edithfarnsworthhouse.org.

Family adventure time

Find out more about explorers and fur trader Louis Joliet and Jesuit missionary Jacques Marquette. Two interpretive naturalists from Isle a la Cache will share direct quotes from Marquette’s journal, answer questions and guide you on your quest. For those ages 10 or older; register by Dec. 27.

Guess who?
