Bremen High School’s Curtin inducted into 2023 Bremen Hall Of Fame
Bremen High School Dean Dave Cutin recently was inducted into the Bremen High School Hall of Fame.
Cutin graduated from Bremen in 1992 and was a dedicated multisport athlete. He focused much of his athletic career on football, playing four years on varsity, and was team captain. He was also a two-year letter winner and a MAC conference champion at Ball State University.

A running enthusiast, Cutin has run over 52 ultra marathons, including 10 100+ mile races. He has participated in two charity runs, one for a former teammate at Ball State and another in honor of his late mother, Linda, to raise scholarship funds for District 228 students in the name of the Linda Curtin Memorial Scholarship.
Cutin has been working in District 228 since 1999 and has been at Bremen High School since 2006.
“Bremen has been a part of my life since 1979,” he said. “So, this is truly an amazing honor. I have been lucky to have an amazing family that has challenged me and supported me. Over the years I’ve had coaches, teachers, students and colleagues that have also contributed to the man I’ve become. I’m a lucky man. I can’t thank everyone enough for this honor.”

Eight alumni to be inducted into District 230 Foundation Legacy Hall
The District 230 Foundation will soon add eight members to the distinguished list of alumni who inspire current students and remind them of all that is possible when you have the support of the D230 community. Legacy Hall was established to recognize and honor graduates from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools who make an impact in their careers, their families and their communities.
To be selected for Legacy Hall, candidates must not only be recognized for their careers, but also demonstrate a willingness to give back to their communities and to share their expertise, knowledge, and time with others. As part of Legacy Hall, candidates are able to return to their alma maters, and share the story of their careers with the students of District 230. Tickets to the Legacy Hall Induction Celebration, scheduled for Nov. 3, at Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park, are $50 at www.d230foundation.org/legacy-hall.
The Legacy Hall Class of 2023 includes Badie Ali, Emily Cavanagh, Kendall Coyne Schofield, Bridget Evans, Souzan Naser, Natalie Olsen O’Boye, Michael Schofield and Dr. Lindsay Sicks.
Homewood’s Kenebrew cast in Lewis University play
Devin Kenebrew of Homewood is participating in “The Little Prince” at Lewis University. The performances run Oct. 19-22 at Philip Lynch Theatre in Romeoville.
