Steve Daniels has joined the Tribune Editorial Board, Editorial Page Editor Chris Jones has announced.
Daniels grew up in Wilmette and has lived the majority of his adult life in the Hyde Park neighborhood. He’s a graduate of Kenyon College and also has a graduate degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Steve began his journalism career in Washington, reporting first for a suburban daily newspaper in Virginia. He then wrote for a weekly newsletter on Capitol Hill, published by a bipartisan congressional caucus on environmental and energy legislation.
He began reporting for Crain’s Chicago Business in 1999 where, among many other things, he covered ComEd, banking and finance for much of the following 24 years. He also has sat on the Crain’s editorial board.
