Rich Township’s Jordan receives dual honors
Rich Township Supervisor Calvin Jordan, who is also a Democratic committeeman, has been bestowed honors by two organizations.
The Townships of Illinois Cook County Region named Jordan regional vice president. He also received the Trailblazer Award from Operation PUSH Founder and President Jesse L. Jackson on July 17.
“While I am honored to receive the Township of Illinois appointment as well as the Trailblazer Award, I wish that my fellow Rich Township Board of Trustees and constitutional officers could receive this award as well,” Jordan said. “We are a team that believes in unity. In addition, my wife Lori Jordan and our children keep me grounded in love and support. I am blessed beyond the stars, but I’ve never stood alone.”
