The following items were taken from the Evanston Police Department bulletin. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Motor Vehicle Theft
A 2019 Hyundai was stolen from the 600 block of Sheridan Road but later recovered in a parking lot.
A 2007 Econoline van rented from the 2100 block of Dempster Street was not returned and was reported stolen on July 25.
A 2012 Honda was stolen from the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue on July 21.
A 2017 Nissan rented from the 1700 block of Maple Avenue was not returned and was reported stolen on July 7.
A 2022 Honda motorcycle was stolen from the 1500 block of Central Street it was reported on August 3.
A 2009 Chrysler was stolen from the 1200 block of Main Street on July 28.
Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft
There was an attempt to steal a 2017 Hyundai from the 1100 block of Sherman Avenue reported on July 28. The vehicle’s steering column was damaged.
There was an attempt to steal a 2015 Hyundai from the 1500 block of Maple Avenue on July 23. A window was broken and the steeling column was damaged.
There was an attempt to steal a 2020 KIA from the 500 block of Church Street on July 28. The vehicle’s steering column was damaged.
Armed Robbery
There was an armed robbery in the 1700 block of Church Street on August 2 in which a handgun was displayed and keys were taken. The keys were later recovered. No injuries were reported.
Robbery
There was a robbery in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue on July 23 in which the offender took the victim’s bike. No injuries were reported.
DUI
Miguel Codezzo, 35, of the 6200 block of Western Avenue, Chicago, was charged with DUI (alcohol) at Ridge Avenue and Main Street on July 30.
Andre Frazier, 58, of the 600 block of Sheridan Road, Evanston, was charged with DUI (alcohol) in the 1900 block of Dempster Street on July 24.
Aggravated Battery
Justin J. Crawford, 18, of the 1800 block of Leland Avenue, Evanston, was charged with aggravated battery in the 1800 block of Leland Avenue on August 3.
Domestic Battery
Omer Habeeb, 40, of the 2000 block of Brown Avenue, Evanston, was charged with domestic battery in the 2000 block of Brown Avenue on July 31.
Jorge C. Vega, 30, of the 300 block of Sherman Avenue, Evanston, was charged with domestic battery in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue on July 28.
Daniel L. Jones, 31, of the 4700 block of West 101st Street, Oak Lawn, was charged with domestic battery in the 1900 block of Hartrey Avenue on July 30.
Kelvin Gerrard Loyd, 40, of the 7400 block of North Seely Avenue, Chicago, was charged with domestic battery in the 6400 block of Clark Street in Chicago on August 1.

Shahida R. Kenyatta, 43, of the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue, Evanston, was charged with trespass in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue on August 3.

Frances McKay, 20, of the 1500 block of Morse Avenue, Chicago, was charged with battery in the 1500 block of Morse Avenue on July 18.
Latrelle Tyrone Clark, 36, of the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue, Evanston, was charged with battery in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue on July 21.
Bancroft E. Levy, 43, of the 3000 block of West Granville Avenue, Chicago, was charged with battery at Oakton Street and Dodge Avenue on July 27.
Olliyah Graves, 23, of the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue, Evanston, was charged with battery in the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue on July 26.
Eriq D. Hadley, 23, of the 12100 block of South Perry Avenue, Chicago, was charged with battery at the Evanston police department in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue on July 6.
Jose R. Moreno, 80, of the 1100 block of North Lorel Avenue, Chicago, was charged with battery in the 2400 block of Main Street on July 22.
Chitioke H. Otugo, 47, of the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road, Chicago, was charged with battery in the 1400 block of Brown Avenue on July 23.
Aggravated Assault
Coyt Riddle, 64, of the 1700 block of Leland Avenue, Evanston, was charged with aggravated assault in the 800 block of Church Street on July 31.
Assault
Otis M. Graham, 51, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue, Evanston, was charged with assault in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue on July 30.
Ian Richards, 27, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue, Evanston, was charged with assault in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue on July 23.
Criminal Damage to Property
Edgar Carreno, 28, of the 700 block of Oakton Street, Evanston, was charged with criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Oakton Street on July 25.
Judah J. Barner, 20, of the 1000 block of North Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, was charged with criminal damage to property in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue on July 23.
Retail Theft
Jesse J. Williams, 46, of the 1900 block of Touhy Avenue, Chicago, was charged with retail theft in the 2400 block of Howard Street on July 25.
Trespass To A Vehicle
Jamarr A. Hill, 20, of the 1700 block of West Howard Street, Chicago, was charged with trespass to a vehicle and escape in the 1700 block of West Howard Street on July 23.
Marcus E. King, 28, of the 1600 block of West Juneway Terrace, Chicago, was charged with trespass to a vehicle in the 1700 block of West Howard Street, Chicago, on July 23.
