Moving violation

Tyler Jacobs, 22 of Barrington, was charged July 16 with misdemeanor speeding following an incident in the area of Route 14 and Hart Road. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 8 in Rolling Meadows.

Identity theft

There was a report July 17 of identity theft in the 500 block of South Grove Avenue.

Criminal damage

There was a report July 20 of criminal damage to vehicle in the 500 block of West Northwest Highway.

Theft

There was a report July 22 of theft in the 1300 block of Lake Shore Drive North.
