BATTERY: Shireen Pishdadi, 52, 7000 block of Oconnell Drive, was arrested and accused of battery Friday in that block after using a green pool spray toy to spray an unknown substance in the face and on the front torso of another person, police said.

Crete

ILLEGAL GUN: Cierah J. Collins, 19, Chicago, is scheduled to appear in Will County circuit court Aug. 8 on two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, according to court records online. Crete police booked Collins into the Will County jail July 20, according to sheriff’s records online.

Evergreen Park

STOLEN VEHICLE: Carlos Clark, 19, Chicago, was arrested and accused of possessing a stolen motor vehicle July 17 after officers, recovering the vehicle in a business parking lot in the 2500 block of West 95th Street, matched him to security camera video of the driver, and then found him about four blocks away, police said.

STOLEN CAR: Dejuan Collins, 27, Chicago, was arrested and accused of possessing a stolen motor vehicle Sunday after officers spotted the vehicle parked in a business lot in the 2500 block of West 95th Street, police said.

BAD DEAL: Jose Correa-Alfaro, 33, 4300 block of 79th Place, Chicago, was arrested and accused of illegal possession with intent to deliver July 8 near the intersection of 87th Street and Kedzie Avenue after officers interrupted an apparent drug transaction and recovered an undisclosed drug, police said.

ANIMAL CRUELTY: Robert Lenoir, 56, 3300 block of 84th Street, Chicago, was arrested and accused of cruel treatment of an animal at 6:36 p.m. July 21 in the 9100 block of Western Avenue after officers found a dog locked inside of a vehicle without water while the vehicle was parked in a business lot with the windows rolled up, police said.

NOSY NEIGHBOR: Deandre Scott, 26, 9700 block of Troy Avenue, was arrested and accused of criminal trespassing at about 7:15 p.m. July 7 after returning to a neighboring property and sitting outside the home, police said.

ILLEGAL GUN: Antonio Williams, 26, Chicago, was arrested and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a stolen motor vehicle at about 1:15 a.m. Monday after crashing at 95th Street and Kedzie Avenue, police said. Williams was armed with a 19 mm handgun loaded with 18 bullets as he fled Oak Lawn officers into Evergreen Park, police said.

Frankfort

DUI: A Chicago motorist who struggled with officers after failing sobriety testing turned out to have been driving on a license revoked for prior drunken driving, police said. Levar D. Brooks, 43, was initially stopped for driving 65 mph in a 40 mph zone Saturday evening on Lincoln Highway at Locust Street, police said. Brooks is scheduled to appear in Will County circuit court Sept. 5 on charges of drunken driving, driving on a revoked license and speeding, according to court records online.

DUI CRASH: Police say a Richton Park man was intoxicated and driving on an out-of-state license revoked for drunken driving when he fled a two-vehicle crash July 17 at Laraway Road and 80th Avenue. Ronald C. Barthelemy, 41, 3800 block of Canterbury Court, was also cited for driving too fast for conditions and illegally transporting open alcohol, police said.

Frankfort Square

ILLEGAL GUNS: Will County sheriff’s police say an off-duty detective Sunday foiled two potential armed robberies. Detective Shaun Moran was driving at about 10:45 a.m. when he noticed two males wearing masks and hoods heading toward a resident, sheriff’s police said. Moran honked, distracting the duo who fled in a car with Moran following them, eventually south on Harlem Avenue, when the teen driver turned onto Lincoln Highway, hitting a curb and disabling the vehicle, police said. Police said they recovered two handguns. Michael E. Smith, 21, Chicago, was booked into the Will County jail, where he remained Wednesday in lieu of $600,000 bond, according to sheriff’s records online. He is charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in a vehicle and being a felon illegally possessing a weapon, according to court records online. A 17-year-old Chicago male was booked the teen into the River Valley Justice Center as a juvenile on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated fleeing and eluding, police said.

Homer Glen

AGGRAVATED DUI: A Lockport man whose license was revoked for drunken driving, was arrested and accused of four counts of aggravated drunken driving and hit and run July 15 after he walked away from a three-vehicle crash in the 14000 block of Parker Road, Will County sheriff’s police said. Lukas Petravicius, 40, 1000 block of Thornton Street, was driving a pickup truck when it collided with two unoccupied parked vehicles, police said. Petravicius was also served with an active Cook County drunken driving warrant and an active DuPage County drunken driving warrant, police said.

Lockport

ROBBERY CHARGED: Joseph B. Weber, 28, 300 block of Madison Street, Lockport, is scheduled to appear in Will County circuit court Friday charged with two counts of armed robbery/no firearm, two counts of being a felon illegally possessing a gun and two counts of burglary in connection with holdups of the Speedway gas station, 1004 9th St., on April 23 and May 4, according to police and court records online. Weber, wielding a knife, demanded money from the register and took a pack of Newport cigarettes and between $50 and $200 in cash in each incident,” police said.

New Lenox

BURGLARY: Semi-tractor trailers were reported broken into July 14 at Michaels Distribution Center, 2400 W. Haven Avenue, but nothing immediately appeared to have been stolen.

Orland Park

WARRANT ARREST: A Harvey man, arrested during a July 13 retail theft investigation at Jewel-Osco, 9350 159th St., is scheduled to appear in Cook County court in Bridgeview Aug. 7 on two unrelated burglary charges, police said. Samuel N. Richards Jr., 53, 500 block of 148th Street, was taken into custody on the no-bond charges and on a Will County felony warrant, issued Oct. 6, that alleges he shoplifted in Tinley Park on July 4, 2022, according to circuit court records online.

Park Forest

SEX ASSAULT: A Park Forest man allegedly caught on home security video taking advantage of an unconscious victim is scheduled to appear in Will County circuit court Aug. 15 on two counts of aggravated sexual assault, according to police and Will County circuit court records online. The victim reported the July 20 assault by David B. Jones, 52, 100 block of Arbor Trail, in that block the next day after reviewing home security video, police said. Officers arrested Jones Monday after reviewing the video, police said. Jones remained in the Will County jail Wednesday in lieu of $500,000 bond, according to sheriff’s records online.

Steger

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: A Merrillville, Indiana, woman accused of attacking a Steger woman with a tire iron, appeared in Will County circuit court for the first time Tuesday, charged with two counts of aggravated battery, according to police and circuit court records online. The victim, who needed staples in her head after the attack, said Giyanna T. Henderson, 21, repeatedly hit her with “a black item” June 20 in the 3700 block of Stella Boulevard, police said. Investigators recovered a tire iron at the scene, police said.

ROBBERY: A man in his 20s, wearing a ski mask, fled the 7-Eleven, 3401 Chicago Road, after demanding cash from the register on July 19.

ROAD RAGE: A male motorist who tried to pass a female motorist in a no-passing zone on Ashland Avenue July 17 followed her to a parking lot in the 400 block of Steger Road, where he threatened to shoot her, the woman said.

Tinley Park

DRUG BUST: A 64-year-old Lansing man accused of selling cocaine, fentanyl and heroin to undercover investigators is scheduled to appear in Will County circuit court Aug. 9, according to court records online. Donald E. Richie, 1900 block of 182nd Street, is charged with two counts of manufacturing/delivering up to 100 grams of cocaine July 12 and July 18, manufacturing/delivering up to 15 grams of heroin July 12 and one count of manufacturing/delivering up to 15 grams of fentanyl June 26, according to court records. Richie was arrested July 18 at an undisclosed location on 183rd Street in Tinley Park by the Will County sheriff’s office gang suppression unit, culminating a seven-week-long investigation, police said.

University Park

STOLEN CAR: Brian Harris, 37, 4100 block of 195th Street, Markham, was arrested and accused of possessing a stolen motor vehicle July 18 in the 1000 block of Blackhawk Drive after the vehicle he was driving was identified by a license plate reading camera, and subsequently confirmed as reported stolen July 12 from Orland Park.
