Alcohol
Michael McKean, 67, of the 400 block of Argyle Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited for possession of liquor in public at 9:13 p.m. July 14.
Battery
Henry Miles, 28, of the 800 block of North York Street, Elmhurst, was charged with domestic battery at 8:41 a.m. July 13.
Mayra Carreon, 45, of the 300 block of East St. Charles Road, Elmhurst, was charged with domestic battery which causes bodily harm and domestic battery by making physical contact at 12:02 a.m. July 20.
Cannabis
Laurence Walker, 34, of the 9100 block of South Urban Avenue, Chicago, was cited for improperly tinted windows, improper use of amber lights and possession of cannabis by a driver at 1:46 a.m. July 19.
Jaysen Morales Jr., 25, of the 3400 block of West Melrose Street, Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis more than 30 grams, driving with expired license plates and driving without insurance at 9:16 p.m. July 19.
Deceptive practice
A resident reported purchasing Lollapalooza tickets through the Lollapalooza website. She later received a text requesting address and payment verification for the purchase. The resident answered with her bank information and later discovered two transactions withdrawn from her account over July 5 and July 6.
Disorderly conduct
Darren Pasnik, 50, of the 400 block of Berkley Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing identification and given a No Trespass notice for a store on the 500 block of South Spring Road where he reportedly threatened an employee by yelling “gun, gun, gun,” then running out of the store.
DUI
Shruthi Ram, 26, of the 4000 block of Hamilton Park Drive, San Jose, Calif., was charged with driving under the influence, possession of open alcohol, improper lane use and speeding at 12:53 a.m. July 16.
Alberto Sotz, 36, 1600 South State Parkway, Lewisville, Texas, was charged with improper lane use, driving under the influence, driving without a valid driver’s license and driving without insurance at 4:15 a.m. July 16.
Fleeing/eluding

Hulon Ware, 29, of the 100 block of South York Road, Bensenville, was charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, obstructing identification, driving with revoked or suspended registration, driving with a revoked driver’s license, driving without insurance, speeding and disregarding a traffic control device at 9:55 a.m. July 16.
Identity theft
An unknown suspect used the victim’s credit card information to make a purchase in Canton, Michigan, between July 9 and July 11. The victim received an email confirming the purchase. She called the location and explained she did not make the purchase. The suspect was subsequently arrested by the Canton Police Department and the victim canceled her credit card.
A resident reported an unknown person accessed her bank account between July 12 and July 14 and used Zelle to send a payment to an unknown suspect. The resident contacted her bank and froze her account.
Prowling
Mohammed Khan, 31, of the 200 block of Regency Drive, Bloomingdale and Abdullah Khaja, 22, of the 3800 block of Howard Street, Skokie, were cited for prowling at 12:42 a.m. July 14 after a resident observed them via Ring cameras walking around his property on the 500 block of Howard Avenue.
Theft
A package was reported stolen from the lobby of a building in the 300 block of South West Avenue at 5:30 p.m. July 13.
Following a report of a retail theft at 5:40 p.m., July 14, from Jewel-Osco, 944 S. York St., a responding officer saw four suspects walking to a vehicle concealing what looked like a bottle of alcohol. After the officer made contact with the suspects, they entered the vehicle in an attempt to flee and struck the front of the officer’s squad car. The offenders fled the scene eastbound on Butterfield Road. The vehicle was recovered on July 17.
An unknown suspect posing as an Amazon delivery driver and wearing a blue Amazon vest stole three Amazon Fresh orders from Whole Foods, 215 S. Route 83 at 5:40 p.m. July 15. An investigation is pending.
Saba Giunashvili, 31, of the 2000 block of East 24th Street, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Imeda Usanetashvili, 42, of the 2000 block of Kings Highway, Brooklyn, were taken into custody and charged with felony retail theft at 11:20 a.m. July 13 in connection with the July 12 theft of cosmetics and cologne from Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83.
Traffic
Justin Yorkovich, 24, of the 2500 block of Briar Trail, Schaumburg, was cited for driving without insurance at 2:21 p.m. July 13.
Noe Orozco Sanchez, 35, of the 1200 block of South 51st Court, Cicero, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Miguel Jimenez-Gallego, 43, of the 100 block of North 17th Avenue, Melrose Park, was charged with driving with expired registration and without a valid driver’s license at 10:42 a.m. July 14.
Charisse Alfred, 44, of the 700 block of Keeler Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving with a revoked driver’s license, disobeying a stop sign and improperly tinted windows at 8:10 p.m. July 14.
Dundre Hill, 28, of the 800 block of Foxworth Boulevard, Lombard, was cited for driving without insurance at 10:15 p.m. July 14.
Carlos Hernandez Jaramillo, 20, of the 300 block of East Fullerton Avenue, Addison, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, improperly tinted windows and improperly tinted windshield at 10:49 p.m. July 14.
Zaida Gomez Monjaraz, 23, of the 20W200 block of Belmont Place, Addison, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license at 11:39 p.m. July 14.
Miguel Gonzalez, 58, of the 200 block of West North Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with failing to yield from a private drive and driving without a valid driver’s license at 10:12 p.m. July 15.
Charles Wilson Jr., 21, of the 3700 block of South Vincennes Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and driving with suspended registration at 12:02 a.m. July 16.
Constance Saldivar, 24, of the 6200 block of South Francisco Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without valid registration and driving without insurance at 11:59 a.m. July 16.
Juan Rivera Barahona, 35, of the 400 block of Walnut Avenue, Elgin, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and for driving with expired license plates at 5:46 p.m. July 16.
Lucy Gallardo, 32, of the 500 block of Wesley Street, Wheaton, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and failing to dim headlights at 11:05 p.m. July 17.
Dayshon Reasoner, 22, of the 8000 block of South Dobson Avenue, Chicago, was cited for failing to yield and driving without a valid driver’s license at 1:11 p.m. July 18.
Andrii Khokhliuk, 33, of the first block of Kingery Quarter, Willowbrook, was charged with driving with a revoked driver’s license and disobeying a traffic control device at 3:51 p.m. July 18.
Anthony Amerio, 44, of the 24200 block of Norwood Avenue, Plainfield, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, improper lane use and failing to display registration at 10:50 p.m. July 18.
Germaine Grigsby, 25, of the 7100 block of West 26th Street, Berwyn, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and speeding at 2:51 a.m. July 19.
