But a new ranking by a mattress company indicates it’s not always quiet and peaceful in the evening, as Naperville ranked among the top 10 worst cities in Illinois for snoring.
Naperville has an estimated 225.43 snores per 10,000 residents, according to an analysis by MattressNextDay.
Illinois ranks as the 29th state in the U.S. for snorers with 13.7% of adults reporting they snore.
Other cities that ranked in Illinois include Schaumburg in first, Evanston in second and Arlington Heights in third. Nearby Elgin ranked 7th.
Mattress Next Day studied Statista and Google Search data to conduct an analysis and determine the number of people snoring, according to the company report. They analyzed keyword data for people looking up how to stop snoring and the overall term “snoring.”
