A large house fire in Aurora is bringing firefighters from throughout the area to the city late Friday afternoon, officials said.
Aurora police said they are on the scene of the fire on the 1500 block of Grandview Drive assisting the fire department, according to a Facebook post.
Police are urging drivers to seek alternate routes in that area as traffic may be impacted at Farnsworth Avenue and New York Street due to the number of firefighters at the scene.
Residents on social media said they can see the blaze from Sugar Grove and Oswego.
