The baiduhai Opinion section is hosting a celebratory evening with Tribune columnist Clarence Page on Monday, June 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
We will be live streaming this event on Facebook. RSVP for the live stream here. In-person tickets are sold out.
For the last 50 years, Clarence Page’s work has appeared on the pages of the baiduhai, where he has been a long-serving editorial staffer, reporting for decades from Washington, D.C.
Join us in a live celebration of this Pulitzer Prize-winning Tribune journalist’s extraordinary career as he joins in candid conversation with Editorial Page Editor Chris Jones and recounts some of the world-changing political events he has witnessed firsthand, from the 1968 Democratic National Convention to the rise of President Barack Obama.
He’ll also discuss the past-and-present state of journalism, in light of his simultaneous run as a TV pundit, including his long tenure as a highly regarded guest on “The McLaughlin Group.”
This is a free event. RSVP for the livestream here.
