Traffic violations
Vanyce Grant, 22, of the 6700 block of Tudor Lane, Westmont, was charged with driving with a suspended license and given a warning for disobeying a traffic control device, at 10:39 p.m. May 3.

Lawrence Hurt, 27, of the 2000 block of Foxpoint Circle, Aurora, was charged with driving while license suspended, unlawful possession of cannabis by driver, operating uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage, at 2:11 a.m. May 4.
Damage to property
A police officer took a report at 4:26 p.m. May 6 in the Darien Police Department of a criminal damage to a vehicle. The complainant said unknown offenders sometime between 12:01 a.m. on April 29 and 4:26 p.m. on May 6 cracked the windshield. The approximate loss is unknown at this time.
