I wonder where are all the women’s rights advocates and activists to stop the Biden administration from banning states that are trying to protect biological women against this travesty in girls and women’s sports events? Kudos to brave young women athletes such as former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines and North Carolina high school volleyball player Payton McNabb for boldly denouncing and exposing the total unfairness and fraud of allowing transgender athletes to compete against true females.

JJ of Oak Lawn says taxpayers should not have to pay for meals at school and child care so mothers can work. Those of us raised in the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s remember a family could get along on one income and moms could stay home. Since 1980, incomes for the middle class, working class and working poor have been stagnant or declined, while the wealth and income of the rich and corporations increased dramatically while their percentage share of the tax burden has gone down. These taxpayers need to again pay their fair share.

I was surprised to read Sam of Crete’s solution to the violence downtown. He said bring in sharp shooters and shoot to kill. That’s a shocking statement, but it’s true. We have been coddling and pampering these thugs for so long we’re at the point of no return. Social programs may help. Giving a thug a house, a great job and free everything won’t help. They’ll laugh in your face, refuse to work and keep selling drugs for a living. They will hurt you, steal from you and kill you.
