Way to go, Rep. Jim Jordan. Once again, sticking your nose in where it doesn’t belong in New York, and you have zero authority there. Are you guys all afraid to just let the process play out and let Trump have a jury of his peers judge him? Now you’re being sued by the district attorney in New York. Why don’t you stick to all your silly committees that you have been doing in Washington? Love watching all the video on your committees as Democrats just tear you apart.

New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan has complained of nasty phone messages and emails as he presides over former President Donald Trump’s court proceedings. That reminds us of last summer as activists leaked the home addresses of moderate and conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices. Soon after, police arrested a California man outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home at 1 a.m. Nicholas Roske, armed with a gun, duct tape, zip ties, pepper spray and burglary tools, told police he intended to kill Kavanaugh.

The Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, what’s going on? He wants to put a stop to Congress looking into what they were doing and all that. What’s the matter? Does he have something to hide, which it seems like all these Democrats do. They hide and they don’t want to tell the truth. Everybody’s saying the Republicans. I hope they find the dirt that they need to get Bragg and then it’ll show all these Democrats. Check out your jail. How many Democrats are in jail or have served and are getting ready to go into jail?

To all the easily duped and gullible followers of Fox News. Tucker Carlson has written emails on how he hates Trump and thinks he was a terrible president and that Fox News lies to keep viewers. Yet you and others overlook the facts because it does not fit your narrow-minded philosophy. How sad that so many Americans lack critical thinking skills!

Trump praised foreign despots Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un again. They are so smart, says Trump. When someone makes irrational statements, a phrase used is that their cheese has fallen off the cracker. Trump’s cheese is on the floor and been stepped on.

Ron, Orland Park

The elite globalists who have control over our current government are so desperate to destroy Donald Trump that they can’t stop bringing more false accusations against him. The far-left Democrat Party have called him a climate change denier. The climate has been changing constantly since the creation of the planet. It takes eons, not decades to get significant amounts of change. The globalist alarmists have been saying that the climate change is imminent.

Metra is spending over $30 million rebuilding three train stations that are barely being used. Meanwhile, Van Buren and 59th Street, which are highly used stations, look like they should be in the Third World. Management’s job is to prioritize what’s most important for the sake of the people who are using Metra now and in the future. Please prioritize wisely.

Walmart finally got smart and decided to close four nonprofitable stores in Chicago. How can they make a profit when half the merchandise walks out the door unpaid? Let’s place the blame where it belongs. The crime rate in these neighborhoods lends itself to thievery and pilferage on a daily basis. Now that Brandon Johnson will be mayor, perhaps he can convince Willie Wilson to spend his money on new neighborhood stores. Anyone taking bets?

YCM, Orland Park

I’ve seen in the news about all these people getting upset about these Walmarts that are closing. Well a couple of years ago they didn’t care about him being looted. So what does that tell you?

Mike, Bedford Park

I’m a conservative Republican, but I also believe in pro-choice. Up in Wisconsin, there was a very heated close race for a Supreme Court position which was won by a liberal. Her campaign was based around Roe v. Wade, but mark my words the first thing she does is she’s going to change election reform and try to get ID-less voting. This is why the liberals and the Democrats have wide-open borders. Because if they can get these people to vote Democratic, they never have a thing to worry about.

Since the dawn of civilization, myths have been a very powerful force around the world. Positively, myths can offer societies identity, purpose, meaning, order and hope. Negatively, myths can lead to ignorance, obedience, rejection.

Ladies Professional Golf Association players who left the PGA tour for money are considered scabs who abandoned their fellow PGA players. They were millionaires already, only greed was her choice. When walking down the fairway, they should keep their head down so nobody recognizes them.

Mr. G., Chicago

I am so tired of seeing posts from people about it’s terrible someone said defund the police when they have absolutely no idea what it means. Educate yourself people, then maybe your posts would make sense.

Hey, I really didn’t appreciate David McGrath’s column on Easter, it was a semi, not even semi, anti-Christian. Happy Easter, I guess, you being open minded. Maybe he ought to keep his columns correct? Don’t appreciate it.

Mike, Alsip

So now it’s Louisville. There have been 15 mass shootings just in this month alone, and now a total of 147 for the year, but that’s going to be temporary, obviously. As long as you Second Amendment, rifle hugging people keep clinging onto this dream of yours that you’re required to be in some kind of faux militia, this will continue. We’ve got to get rid of all these guns. This is not a mental health issue. This is a gun issue.
