Do you know what our new Mayor Brandon Johnson’s plan to fight crime by bringing in social workers instead of cops in heavy crime areas will bring? A lot of dead social workers and pleas from good residents for police help, just like other progressive-governed cities.

Congratulations to Chicago. You have a new elected mayor who states he has a plan to decrease crime, he would not increase property tax, but he will increase taxes on business. Chicago does not need any more taxes. People are leaving along with businesses. So why not keep it real and address the real problem and that is change the law, sit down with Kim Foxx and the judges and stop the revolving door of letting underage gangbangers be sent home to the mama after 24 hours. Let them know upfront a new mayor is in town.

I’ve seen many accidents on Cicero at 105th Place. Many people driving south tend to cross over double lines to get into line to go to McDonald’s. The people driving north wanting to turn left to enter 105th Place are taking a big risk factor. I saw a woman on the wrong side of the lines with another car facing north and a police officer stopped traffic and directed the woman into McDonald’s, then he gave a driver of the northbound car a ticket because he refused to back up. What’s wrong with this picture?

Now that the shoe is on the other foot, Donald Trump wants to defund the FBI and Justice Department because they were only doing their jobs. Trump continues to tell lie after lie and the MAGA Republicans and Fox News continue to drink his Kool Aid. His new spokesperson, Sen. Lindsey Graham, is pleading for Trump’s followers to send him money. So all you MAGA Republicans, keep sending the billionaire your money.

Don, Orland Park, you apparently think that a former president is above the law and should not be prosecuted for any crime. Actually, this indictment is very American, as no person is above the law. As clearly stated in the Constitution. He was indicted by a jury of his peers, not the evil leftists.
