My sympathy goes out to the family of Hadiya Pendleton having to relive the tragic events that led to their daughters death again in court! My anger is with the Chicago Police Department and the Fraternal Order of Police which protected and failed to fire the detective who botched the entire case. Detective John O’Halloran has previously screwed up six other cases causing monetary damages to be paid by the taxpayers. But I guess he was too privileged and protected to be fired! What a shame!

A very interesting book, “Walk The Blue Line” by James Patterson and Matt Eversmann. Everyone should try to read it.

I’d like to ask Bill from Plainfield, if the media is all biased why does he always Speak Out in the Daily Southtown? If all the media is biased, you should be looking somewhere else to speak. Also, I think Ted Slowik is a really good columnist.

To Wes from Orland Park: It is not the evolution of a God created species that Christians object to. It is the assertion of an unproven scientific theory that all life somehow came from primordial ooze and became more complex by itself and was not created by God. There is a big difference.

I am sick and tired of these climate change deniers even though there is incontrovertible scientific proof that this is a reality. Within a few months, our country will be warming up causing a need to use air conditioning. We might even have to go in cold water just to prevent heat stroke. In the space of just a few months afterward, things will cool off leading us to have to wear more clothing just to stay warm. These are direct results of climate change and only a fool would deny this.

Pertaining to the diva Aaron Rodgers. Why don’t the newspapers quit covering him. If I were the Packers, I would start Love all year long and have mister diva sit on the bench. Sure, Green Bay screwed up by guaranteeing all that money, but live and learn. Don’t let this guy push everybody around, and he already is acting like an idiot with some of them guys in New York.
