Romeo is a 3-year-old male tri-colored coonhound that was rescued from an animal control in southern Illinois where he was at risk of euthanasia. He is energetic and likes to go on walks and watch birds and squirrels. When done exploring/playing, he likes pets and snuggles. He is super soft, loves attention and is a big fan of treats.

Melody was abandoned outside PAWS years ago with a mangled leg, which eventually needed to be amputated. Melody was recently returned after her owner got a new job, and she is desperately looking for a forever home to cherish her. Melody isn't a big fan of other animals, so she prefers to be your only pet.

Azura is a zesty cat who absolutely loves attention and treats. She would do best in a household with no other animals or children and with someone who has patience and time to allow her to adjust. She is a high energy kitty who loves to play with all the toys.

Fig is around 10-12 months old, is very playful and loves to cuddle. He is a lover of tennis balls and affection and is also crate trained, house broken and walks well on leash. This little guy is eager to please, so he will learn some commands in no time. Fig is also dog friendly.
