Elmhurst
Burglary
An unlocked vehicle in a driveway on the 100 block of North Walnut Street was reportedly entered overnight between March 23 and March 24.
An unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of North Elm Avenue was reportedly entered between 7 p.m. March 23 and 9 a.m. March 24. Nothing was reported missing.
Cannabis
Tyler Wentworth, 23, of the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Addison, was cited for possession of cannabis, disobeying a traffic control device and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 1:43 a.m. March 25.
Jerami Miranda, 33, of the first block of MacArthur Drive, Northlake, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving without insurance, possession of cannabis by a driver and improperly tinted windows at 9:24 p.m. March 25.
Zahary Jefferson, 20, of the 500 block of Savannah Lane, Bolingbrook, was cited for possession of cannabis at 12:26 a.m. March 26.
Javonte Brown, 27, of the first block of West 60th Street, Westmont, was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis and for improper window tinting at 12:13 a.m. March 27.
Cesar Pineda, 24, of the 1200 block of Kings Circle, West Chicago, was cited for possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle at 4:15 p.m. March 27.
Criminal damage
Graffiti was observed on a barricade in the Addison parking deck, 149 N. Addison Ave., by an officer patrolling at 4:48 p.m. March 24.
Someone reportedly keyed the passenger side of a vehicle parked at Elm Creek Apartments, 3 Elm Creek Dr., as reported late in the evening of March 28.
Criminal trespass
Isabel Pacheco, 34, of the 8700 block of South Buffalo Avenue, Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass to a motor vehicle at 12:45 a.m. March 24. [See traffic item below.]
A resident reported someone entered her vehicle on the 100 block of North Myrtle Avenue between March 23 and March 27. Nothing appeared to be missing, but a Chase card was left in the vehicle.
Damage to city property
An unknown offender damaged five decorative lights around the mausoleum in Glos Park, 170 E. Park Ave., overnight between March 23 and March 24.
Deceptive practice
A resident reported on March 4 sending money to an unknown suspect in response to a deceptive Facebook message.
A resident was told she had won money in a sweepstakes but needed to send money to get her winnings. The deception was discovered before she lost any money. Reported between March 21 and March 23.
Disorderly conduct
Antonio Mancha, 48, of the first block of King Arthur Street, Northlake, was charged with befouling property at 6 p.m. March 24 after police said he admitted to public urination in a parking lot in the 500 block of West North Avenue.
Ari Perez, 30, of the 2000 block of North Lawler Avenue, Chicago and Laura Castaneda, 22, of the 500 block of Green Oaks Court, Addison, were cited for disorderly conduct at 8:44 p.m. March 28 after they were located in a stairwell of the Addison parking deck, 149 N. Addison Ave., by an officer responding to a call of suspicious persons.
DUI
Robert Molina, 36, of the 400 block of Myrick Avenue, Addison, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and speeding at 1:33 a.m. March 25.
Ashley Mendoza, 29, of the 2400 block of Haymond Street, River Grove, was charged with obstructing justice, driving under the influence, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, failure to yield to emergency vehicles, possession of open alcohol by a driver, improper lane use and driving without insurance at 4:46 a.m. March 25.
Diashawnie Griffin, 32, of the 1200 block of North Lamon Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis by a driver, possession of open alcohol by a driver, improper lane use and speeding at 1:57 a.m. March 27.

Ana Pena, 31, of the 4600 block of Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows, was charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance, improper backing and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 11:55 p.m. March 29.
Mark Ross, 34, of the 3500 block of Holland Park Lane, Port Huron, Michigan, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a revoked driver’s license, possession of cannabis by a driver, driving without insurance and (improper) stopping in the roadway at 12:26 a.m. March 30.
Identity theft
A resident reported a check mailed in early March was altered.
A resident reported on March 29 that an unknown offender opened a credit card account using the resident’s information. No money was lost and credit bureaus were notified.
Theft
Angela Marie Pinski, 48, of the 200 block of North Cardinal Avenue, Addison, was charged with retail theft at 1:56 p.m. March 21 after allegedly stealing merchandise from four local businesses.
Rita McGill, 40, of the 300 block of West North Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with retail theft at 11:13 a.m. March 20 in connection with a March 20 incident in Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83.
A Ring doorbell was reported taken from a house under construction on the 200 block of South Fair Avenue between March 6 and March 27.
A catalytic converter was reported taken from a vehicle in a lot of Elmhurst Terrace Apartments, 493 W. St. Charles Rd., between 9:10 p.m. March 26 and 9 a.m. March 27.
Traffic
Ruth Chacon, 26, of the 100 block of Silver Lane, Melrose Park, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 4:15 p.m. March 23.
Isabel Pacheco, 34, of the 8700 block of South Buffalo Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and without insurance at 7:52 p.m. March 23. [See criminal trespass item above.]
Brandon Rudolph-Kimble, 35, of the 600 block of Mall Drive, Schaumburg, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended driver’s license and driving without insurance at 5:29 p.m. March 24.
Omar Alba, 47, of 200 block of Parkview Drive, Northlake, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and improper display of registration at 2:58 p.m. March 25.
Diover DeSantiago Velez, 22, of the 300 block of West St. Charles Road, Lombard, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding at 10:05 p.m. March 25.
Jose Hernandez Lopez, 32, of the 400 block of West Division Street, Villa Park, was charged with failing to yield at an intersection, improper lane use, driving without a valid driver’s license and driving without insurance at 3:52 p.m. March 26.
Lakayla Day, 18, of the 600 block of North Irving Avenue, Hillside, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident at 6:34 p.m. March 26.
Tyjuan Reese, 28, of the 2400 block of West Van Buren Boulevard, Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license, improper display of registration and driving without insurance at 11:19 p.m. March 28.
Darnisha Wilson, 22, of the 400 block of North Lawler Avenue, Chicago, was cited for disobeying a stop sign, driving without a valid driver’s license and driving without insurance at 10:15 p.m. March 29.
In the same incident, Marie Mays, 19, of the 5000 block of West 19th Street, Cicero, was cited for possession of cannabis by a minor.
