What’s with the avalanche of freight train derailments? I’d like to ask Pete Buttigieg, but that complaint could be due to his lack of, or slow response. He is ill-equipped for the job. However, has anyone looked into train track conditions? It will be costly to inspect millions of miles of track to replace. What about terrorism? So, the illegitimate socialist puppet comes on TV and lies to us by telling us that the banking system is safe after two large banks fail. Then the idiot treasury secretary tells us that the Feds are bailing out the depositors in these banks who are over the $250K FDIC limit, but the taxpayers will not pay for this. The only way that this can occur is for the treasury to print more money, which further debases our currency and causes more inflation. These morons are ruining our economy.

The proposed Lake County Greenway will stop the building of new and faster highways. Maybe our old roads can be changed back into cobblestone roads of years past. Lake County does not need any improvements in the road system. Just keep patching up the potholes.

Election integrity demands it
Recently, my family received notices from the Lake County clerk’s office advising on how to sign up to receive voting by mail forms. My wife and I still reside in Lake County. However, our two daughters also received notices. Neither of them has resided in Lake County in over 10 years. They are not eligible to vote in Illinois, yet checking on voter roll lists is considered by some to be voter purging or voter suppression. Both have requested to have their names removed in Illinois. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 requires states to establish a program to make a reasonable effort to remove voters from voter rolls who have died or changed residences, as our daughters did. Election integrity demands it.
