Pitchfork Music Festival has announced its summer 2023 lineup, with headliners The Smile, Big Thief and Bon Iver.

The festival will play Union Park July 21-23 in Chicago. Tickets are on sale Monday; one-day passes are $109, three-day passes are $219, Pitchfork PLUS ranges from $209 (single-day) to $419 (three-day).

FRIDAY: The Smile, Alvvays, Perfume Genius, Leikeli47, Nation of Language, Roc Marciano & The Alchemist, Youth Lagoon, Ric Wilson, Grace Ives, Jlin, Axel Boman (Live), Mavi, Sen Morimoto and Contour.

SATURDAY: Big Thief, Weyes Blood, King Krule, Snail Mail, Panda Bear + Sonic Boom, Julia Jacklin, Charlotte Adige’ry & Bolis Pupul, Vagabon, MJ Lenderman, Yaya Bey, Black Belt Eagle Scout, 700 Bliss, Palm and Deeper.

SUNDAY: Bon Iver, Kelela, Koffee, Killer Mike, JPEGMafia, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Mdou Moctar, Illuminati Hotties, Jockstrap, Soul Glo, Florist, Lucrecia Dalt, Rachika Nayar and Ariel Zetina.

According to Monday’s announcement, this will be the U.S. festival debut for The Smile, composed of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner.

The festival of alternative rock, indie, electronic music and hip hop dates back to the Intonation Festival in Union Park in 2005, with the first full Pitchfork Music Festival in 2006. It has run annually in the Near West Side park except for a pandemic cancellation in 2020, and also includes the CHIRP Record Fair and a range of local vendors. Daily capacity is 20,000.
