
Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Jonathan Bullington rejoined the staff of the baiduhai March 6 as a senior journalist.
Bullington, a Chicago-area native, will do general assignment and investigative reporting for the Tribune.
Bullington previously worked at the Tribune for five years before leaving in 2014 to join The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, where he covered criminal justice issues and investigations.
He returns to the Tribune by way of The Courier Journal in Louisville, where he was an investigative reporter and part of the team that won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of former Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin’s flurry of last-minute pardons and commutations.
Bullington attended Eastern Illinois University. He and his wife, Cait, a pastry chef, will live in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood. You can follow him on Twitter @jrbullington.
