Do real things
A new state flag for the state of Illinois? How totally ridiculous. Can’t they think of other ways to spend my taxpayer dollars? And how much is this going to cost? All of the state buildings will have to have new flags. All of the stationery will have to be redone. All of the county buildings, city buildings and public school buildings will all have to have new flags. Come on. Give me a break. Spend your time on doing real things.
Figure it out
I want to respond to “The Public Deserves Better.” Yes, the public does deserve better. I find it literally amazing that these people these days just parrot what the media tells them to do. The mainstream media has failed this country. If the mainstream media was doing their job, we would not be in the predicament that we have now. Why is it that at a news conference when Trump was in office everybody questioned everything? When Biden’s up their, nobody questions him except maybe once or twice a Fox News reporter does? Why is that? And to these morons that call into Talk of the County and talk about Trump, why don’t you worry about the entire country and your livelihood? Or do you want to be dominated by a Soviet Union-style government? Look at the elected leader that’s sitting in office now, and what he has done with us since the last president left. Look in the mirror and figure it out.
Start enforcing parking laws
Does Waukegan not enforce parking laws anymore? I always thought there was an alternate parking ordinance. People seem to park wherever they want. I get it. There are probably 12 people living in a single-family home — and 10 different people have cars — but you still have to park on the proper side of the street, even if it is not convenient for you. Come on Waukegan, start enforcing parking laws. You could probably hire a few more policemen if you just issue tickets.
