Battery
David Radziszewski, 29, of the 600 block of North Indiana Street, Elmhurst, was charged with two counts of domestic battery at 9:21 p.m. March 5.
Hazel Sanders, 20, of the 3700 block of West Wrightwood Avenue, Chicago, was charged with two counts of domestic battery and consumption of alcohol by a minor at 11:45 p.m. March 7.
In the same incident, Dylan Berrio, 23, of the 9900 block of Pacific Avenue, Franklin Park, was charged with providing alcohol to a minor.
Burglary
A backpack with personal belongings was reported taken from an unlocked semi-truck tractor on the 600 block of North Larch Avenue between 3 p.m. and 5:43 p.m. March 2.
An unknown suspect reportedly broke into seven storage lockers in the 100 block of West Industrial Drive and removed items between Feb. 28 and March 1.
Burglary of mailboxes
Elmhurst police are investigating two burglaries to United States Postal Service mailboxes. One box is located on the northeast corner of First Street and Haven Road. The other is on the east side of Cottage Hill Avenue between Park Avenue and Adelaide Street, across from the Elmhurst Post Office. The box there is the northernmost of the three boxes at that location. In both cases, the rear doors of the boxes were pried open.
Police and U.S. Postal Service Inspectors, have determined these mailbox locations had mail last collected by postal carriers on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at approximately 4 p.m. Mail placed into these two mailbox locations between Saturday, March 4 at 4 p.m. and Monday, March 6 at 7 a.m. may have been stolen.
Elmhurst police recommend residents use the interior lobby mail slot of the United States Post Office instead of exterior mailbox locations for enhanced security, especially for sensitive mail. Anyone with information or exterior video footage that may be helpful to solving these mailbox break-ins is asked to contact the Elmhurst Police Department at (630) 530-3050.
Criminal damage to property
Joseph Pelliccioni, 28, of the 4600 block of Woodward Avenue, Downers Grove, was charged with attempted aggravated battery to a police officer, criminal damage to state-supported property, criminal trespass to state-supported property, resisting arrest and violation of bail bond at 1:16 p.m. March 5 after police responded to a report of an intoxicated subject who broke a glass door on the west side of the Metra station, 128 W. First St.
Dog bite
Paige Fitterer, 31, of the 500 block of West Crockett Avenue, Elmhurst, was cited for having a dog at large at 10:59 a.m. March 4.
Disorderly conduct
John West, 64, of the 500 block of West Lawler Avenue, Addison, was cited for disorderly conduct at 2:26 p.m. March 8.
Drugs
Piotr Gajdosz, 36, of the 500 block of Division Street, Villa Park, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance at 1:44 p.m. March 4.
DUI
Shawn Spector, 53, of the 600 block of Sherman Street, Melrose Park, was charged with driving under the influence and illegal transport of open alcohol at 1:07 p.m. March 3.
Steven Jackson, 53, of the 2500 block of West LeMoyne Street, Chicago, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence, driving with a revoked driver’s license, driving without insurance, speeding, improper lane use and illegal transport of alcohol at 2:45 a.m. March 4.
Jose Serna, 21, of the 1500 block of Ardmore Avenue, Glendale Heights, was charged with driving under the influence, parking on railroad tracks and driving without insurance at 3:15 a.m. March 4.
Latavia Robertson, 23, of the 200 block of Mallard Drive, Sauk Village, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and disobeying a traffic control signal at 12:15 a.m. March 5.
Forgery
One of two checks mailed by Nitti Development, 132 N. York St., but never received by the intended recipients was altered and cashed by an unknown offender on Feb. 16.
Two offenders reportedly used forged currency to purchase items from Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83, then left the store with additional items they did not purchase at 1:55 p.m. March 5.
Identity theft
A resident reported an unknown suspect used the resident’s information to open a Verizon account which has an overdue balance from December.
A resident reported that on March 4 two unknown suspects entered the BMO Bank, 1121 S. York St., and attempted unsuccessfully to use a fake Illinois driver’s license to access the resident’s money market account.
A resident reported that a check he mailed to the city of Elmhurst on Feb. 14 was intercepted, altered and cashed in early March, resulting in an overdraft notice from his bank.
A resident reported March 7 that an unknown suspect used her credit card and Wayfair account for a fraudulent purchase, which she was able to cancel.

A resident reported receiving on March 7 a notice from Bank of America of a drop in her credit score and then discovered two debt collection actions regarding a Florida apartment lease and number credit inquiries without her authorization.
Soliciting
Tamara Moore, 57, of the 1600 block of Ansel Road, Cleveland, Ohio and Garland Ware, 64, of the 3600 block of Avalon Road, Shaker Heights, Ohio, were cited for soliciting without a license at 12:05 p.m. March 4.
Stolen vehicle
A silver Chevrolet Impala was reported taken from My Choice Motors, 530 W. Grand Ave., at 9:35 p.m. March 2 by an unknown male who got into the vehicle and drove it away.
Suspicious circumstances
A resident on the 600 block of North Emroy Avenue reported finding a bullet hole in her garage door, apparently caused between March 1 and March 3. Police report a bullet was found at the scene, thought to have been fired from a long distance away.
Theft
A catalytic converter was reported taken from a vehicle belonging to Terminix which was parked in the 600 block of West Grand Avenue between Feb. 8 and March 1.
Several political signs were reported taken from a yard in the 100 block of Vallette Street between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. March 3.
Several items were reportedly taken from Kohl’s, 303 S. Route 83, by an unknown suspect who left the store without paying at 11:15 a.m. March 5.
Casha Jackson, 37, of the 1100 block of Monitor Avenue, Chicago, was charged with retail theft and driving with a revoked driver’s license at 9:02 p.m. March 5 after allegedly driving away with items stolen from Jewel Osco, 153 E. Schiller St.
Several items were reported stolen from Mariano’s, 678 N. York St., at 5:43 p.m. March 7 by a Hispanic female.
A check mailed by a resident to pay an electric bill was “washed” and cashed by an unknown suspect between March 5 and March 8.
Theft by deception
An employee of an Elmhurst company reported March 7 receiving an email he thought was from his boss, asking him to buy gift cards for a client. After sending the gift card information, he realized it was a scam.
Traffic violations
Tyler Crout, 29, of the first block of North Mayfield Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license and driving without insurance at 2:30 a.m. March 2.
Angela Falco, 46, of the 1300 block of North 20th Avenue, Melrose Park, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license at 9:46 a.m. March 2.
Julissa Delgado, 23, of the 700 block of Calico Drive, Aurora, was cited for improper window tinting at 11:56 p.m. March 2.
Lorenzo Hicks, 40, of the 2200 block of Nichols Road, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving with a revoked driver’s license, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving too fast for conditions at 1:49 a.m. March 5.
Jason Guziewski, 29, of the 0S600 block of Old York Road, Elmhurst, was cited for driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving with suspended registration, improper lighting and driving without insurance at 9:37 p.m. March 6.
Krissy Kendall, 30, of the 100 block of East Oneida Avenue, Elmhurst, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s licenses and driving with expired registration at 12:23 a.m. March 7.
Tommy Morrow III, 22, of the 900 block of Dunlop Avenue, Forest Park, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license at 5 a.m. March 7.
