I see where Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s harassing the homeless people sleeping under viaducts or some going to O’Hare Airport to keep warm and a little safety. In the meantime, Gov J.B. Pritzker is building another sanctuary for the immigrants at 71st and Pulaski. So let’s see, they get free housing, free electricity, free water, free food, free internet and, oh yeah, medical if they need it. A word for the homeless, go down across the border and come back Illegally. You get treated like royalty.

Regarding the mayor’s race in Chicago. Polls have Paul Vallas leading Lightfoot and Lightfoot, out of desperation, finally is pulling the race card. She’s telling the voters in the South and the West Side to keep the mayor’s seat Black, to keep it within the tribe, thereby not allowing a white or a Latino to take the mayor’s spot. Not unbelievable, totally expected.

If you’d listened to some of the top Republican plans, they do not have any. Their only concern is taking away women rights, stopping the LGBT from getting any medical treatments along with pulling all the books from the shelves about African American history. Their outlook on gun control is everyone should have a gun to protect themselves, and the price of food and gas is the Biden administration’s fault. They want to reduce the deficit by cutting Medicare and Social Security. If they can’t have it their way there will be no way for President Biden to move forward without taking executive action.

I really think now that retail stores are going out of business that we the public should compensate retail thieves with monthly payments. We should try to help these poor disadvantaged citizens. The state and county should pay these people, just like those who do not work, with monthly checks. This is only fair.

To BJ from Hazel Crest regarding the president’s State of the Union address. He never mentioned the crisis on the border. He never talked about inflation, never addressed the crime that’s going on in the United States and in all the big cities. I too would have been proud of him had he mentioned these and said how he was going to take care of the problems.

Plainfield Bill bemoans what he calls government propaganda in the media, yet he is obviously a Fox News devotee. Apparently, he doesn’t know that Fox News was established by Roger Ailes specifically to propagate conservative and Republican Party issues. There is no quest by the left to eliminate Fox News, I just wish their audience could tell facts and truth from lies, opinions and mistakes. I also wish they would take the time to understand socialism is not the same as authoritarianism, and that some aspects of socialism have been with us since our founding.

Is it me, or does Joe Biden seem like a deer in headlights when addressed with a serious questions from the press. He pauses, stares, then walks away. Some transparency. Look at Vice President Kamala Harris, after she delivers a word salad of mumbo-jumbo. She then cackles like comedian Phyllis Diller. Even worse is the press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre. She provides frenetic hand gestures while giving you absolutely nothing relevant to the inquiry. What a team.

Big trucks now routinely ride in the passing lane on our interstates and sit there. Have Illinois laws changed, or do state troopers look the other way? This doesn’t seem to happen in other states.
