So how long will Kim Fox’s office be investigating this? Three 13-year-olds steal a car, crash a car and kill a man, and within 24 hours are not charged and released to their parents. The Robbins police chief said it perfectly, since there is no punishment, they’re going to continue what they are doing. There has to be a change in the law. Children committing adult crimes cannot continue to be treated like children stealing bubble gum.

BJ from Hazel Crest, your Speak Out about the lamp poles relates to something I dislike. Within the last year, ComEd replaced our street corner lamp pole with an energy efficient LED light. This new LED light is significantly dimmer than the original regular bulb we had for years. Now instead of having a brightly lit corner, we have a poorly lit corner. Being by a forest preserve, there are few other light sources. Recently I had to contact ComEd twice because it stopped working. We’re saving electricity, but we’re sacrificing reliability, quality and safety.
