Vice President Kamala Harris is getting promises by private companies to support projects in Guatemala Honduras and El Salvador to the tune of about $950 million to help keep those people in their own countries. She’s not an ambassador of Goodwill for other countries. She’s supposed to monitor the borders, which she hasn’t done. How about closing the borders and using that money in the United States to do things we need like supporting the immigrants she’s already let in so American taxpayers don’t have to.

I agree with recent contributors, I think that Lori Lightfoot is horrible. I don’t expect a clean mouth out of anyone, but she is downright vulgar. I’m also not impressed by the videos of her singing karaoke and dancing in street parades. Must make the crime victims of Chicago feel real good, seeing her like that. People in the hospital, children in the morgue, and she’s shaking her booty like a fool.

To Leo from Orland Park. If by now you have not seen the danger that news shows OAN and Newsmax have been to this country, especially helping to be a voice to the lies of Donald Trump, then you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.

BP announced its profits last year doubled. That’s right, doubled. So while you whining righties out there complained you’re paying more for gas because of Joe Biden and the Democrats well, I’ve got one thing to say to you; you’re wrong. All of the major oil companies have been charging whatever they can get away with and they will continue to. The oil companies are big transnational corporations. They’re in bed with the Republicans and the bottom line is their sole concern.

Conservatives on the Supreme Court continue to err about the original intent of the Constitution. The original intent of the framers, based on the failure and fears brought about by the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation, was to create a stronger, activist, adaptable national government that would truly create a more perfect union. The proof is easily found in the preamble, the introduction that explained the purpose of the Constitution, where they purposely used the following words: provide, insure, promote, form and establish.
