So the Democrats are saying that during Donald Trump’s presidency, they had three spy balloons like the one that way just shot down after four days. If this was true, why didn’t anybody see it like we’ve seen this one. It’s pretty sad the Democrats have to find some way to blame Trump for everything even when he’s not involved. I highly doubt this happened during Trump’s presidency. I don’t think the Chinese would mess with Trump.

My favorite quote about productivity comes from an unusual source — former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Dan Jiggetts. His quote: Never confuse activity with accomplishment. A news story before President Biden’s State of the Union speech said he’d likely highlight his efforts in the past two years to fight inflation. With so many products and services at high and ever-increasing price levels, it seems the president is mocking that quote by equating his activity with actual accomplishment.

The comment in Sunday’s paper made me laugh. How can someone compare Trump’s educated children making money on investments with Biden’s crackhead son smoking crack and being a deadbeat father that doesn’t take responsibility for his actions. The liberal mind is warped.

The dispute between the village of Tinley Park and the Park District has reached a point where it is going to cost village residents for the services and events we have been accustomed to receiving. The village’s change of the Fourth of July fireworks and refusing to renew contracts for fuel and salt will cause the Park District to pay more and that cost will be borne by the taxpayers. These issues also make the village government seem small and petty. If both sides in this dispute cannot reach an agreement, none of them should be retained.
