Nothing but spies
Can you believe China? Can you believe them? They may retaliate because we blew down their balloon flying over American air space. What if it would have been the other way around? Do you think China would have applauded, and waited for us gleefully? No. They would have shot down our stuff, too. Our satellites, our balloons, whatever we put in their territory, they will shoot down. The nerve of the Chinese to even think that we were just going to sit there and wait. And wait for what? These people are nothing but spies.

With so many people living under the umbrella of generational welfare, where no one in their immediate family or circle of acquaintances has taught — or shown by example — the importance of earning a living and raising a family, I’m afraid so many young people have come to expect that everything is free and there’s no need to challenge yourself, or try to excel. I read of another tragic death occurring in a robbery in Chicago, and I’m wondering if the killer was raised in the aforementioned environment and was so conditioned to getting everything free, they hadn’t had to learn any important skills or life lessons. I don’t blame the killer as much as I do our government that has robbed so many young people of a well-lived life.
We should be allowed more
To the feebleminded person that has the analogy of a AR-15 to a firecracker. It is not my firecracker that governments worry about, it is the 5-10 million AR-15-type firecrackers here is the U.S. that they take into deep consideration. That, along with the estimated 300 million firearms in the U.S. And my millions of brothers and I with these firearms would be protecting us if the need arose. And that is why we have the Second Amendment. But, yes, I do think we should be allowed more.

Extending the Waukegan Airport Runway so it makes part of Green Bay Road a tunnel will be so cool. And if you’re working on it, how about making Green Bay Road four lanes all the way to the state line.
He can’t do it
This is for all the people that are complaining about those who are not going to obey Pumpkinhead Pritzker’s law about owning guns. There’s the Second Amendment to the Constitution that grants every American the right to have a gun. So, all you dimwits out there, read the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. He can’t do it.
Move if you don’t like it
Thank you to the contributor pointing out the pros of giving the Waukegan airport a face-lift. Some people just can’t accept positive change, and that’s just sad. I say get rid of all the negative issues and people in this town. Bring in those wealthy corporations to make this the booming city it once was. Good grief, I’m so tired of people whining and holding us back from moving forward. Don’t like it? Move.
