Totally unnecessary
If the new runway will not significantly alter the airport’s function, then why build it? He further says there will be no passenger or cargo services. What is the purpose then, if planes do not carry passengers or cargo? I guess the pilot will take an empty plane up into the air, and eventually land that empty airplane somewhere. Of course, there will be serious environmental impact with more noise because it will take longer for the plane to take off on this longer runway. And more fuel will be needed, which will definitely hurt the environment. And, finally, this is to support private businesses, and personal and private use by wealthy owners. Let them pay for it. Why should me, a poor taxpayer, have to pay taxes to rebuild a runway that will only help the wealthy? The planes will still be able to take off. Will I still be able to drive down Green Bay? This is a totally unnecessary cost to taxpayers.

This is in response to “Reorder the world”: High five to you, my friend. Even Switzerland sees what they’re trying to do to us in America. I’ve been saying this for two years and nobody listens. First, they take away your freedom of speech. Then they take away your guns so you can’t defend yourself. The elite want to just keep running the country and calling the shots, and we’re just supposed to be little sheep. Yes, ma’am. Yes, sir, as they’re stealing all our tax money with their little wish lists. There’s so much money being stolen, and this person cries about Republicans spending $8 trillion. Honey, you Democrats steal more than that in probably five years. And I’m so tired of hearing about Trump and his remark about the Constitution. Can you blame that man after way he was treated for four years — every dirty underhanded trick in the book. And now shoved right in our faces, is Biden doing exactly what he condemned Trump for. He ain’t getting his house raided, is he? No, this will get swept under the rug, too. God pray for us all. You know what? Go fly a kite.
Just a thought
This is directed toward the younger people in the United States. If there’s somebody out there who wants to really get rich, try and invent a set of railroad track crossings that don’t go bad every three or four years. If you can get a railroad crossing to last say 20 years, you’re going to make a trillion dollars. Also, one other thing: If you can somehow figure out a way to keep the manhole casting up to pavement level in the roads, you’re going to make a billion dollars. All you got to do is figure out a way to keep those castings level with the pavement, so they don’t get all smashed down. You’ll be rich beyond your wildest dreams. Just a thought.
More cameras
I just paid the $100 fee for my husband rolling through a red light. He made a right-hand turn off of Green Bay Road onto Washington. We watched the video. He came to a stop and then he made the turn. Apparently, he didn’t sit there long enough. Anyway, it’s too bad they don’t put these cameras on stop signs so they would catch all the people running stop signs, especially in my neighborhood. It’s a four-way stop in our neighborhood, and they run it all the time.
