It is a mystery to me that Russia is still a member of the UN Security Council after being allowed to kill Ukrainians and threaten European natural gas supplies. Russia should be kicked off that council, yet the UN has done very little to address anything connected to the Ukrainian War.

I would like to have someone in Springfield propose a law that any elected politician convicted of any felony be sent to prison and all other elected politicians be fined $5,000 because of the guilty one. I’m sure that this law would go nowhere. This is the same reasoning behind these gun laws. Only law-abiding gun owners will be forced to follow these laws. Criminals will never follow them and never will no matter how many laws they enact.

Yeah, mayor, Pete Buttigieg left South Bend in shambles when he left office and he’s going to do the same when he leaves the Department of Transportation. How ridiculous it is to appoint these people to these major jobs.

It’d be nice and refreshing to actually see an intelligent, thought-provoking, well-made commercial on TV. Nowadays, everyone’s dancing and acting stupid. My favorite one was the ZocDoc commercial, where the girl is smiling and dancing as she uses her phone to book an appointment to a psychologist. I can’t see that a distressed person in need of counseling would be so visibly excited and joyous. The way she acted, you’d think she booked a trip to Disneyland.

To Kathy from Elwood, Jeff Regnier is correct in referring to this gun ban as devastating. When one of the amendments of the Constitution has been shredded, it is devastating. Unless you’ve had training and knowledge of firearms, you really should learn to choose your words better next time.
