Years in business: Opened in November
What does your business do? “We specialize in spiritual healing, chakra healing. We do cleansings, spiritual balancing. In the spring, we’ll be getting a yoga instructor. We will offer group healings. Now we do individual healings. … We also do readings. Palm readings. Tarot cards. Psychic readings. Love readings. Couples reading,” Stanley said.
Couples reading? “A couples reading goes into their relationship. What they need to focus on. The future of the relationship. The past.”
What’s the background of this business? “We’ve rebranded. We used to be down the street, on Jefferson, the Astrology Center. … Faith Christo is expanding her business. I’m taking over ownership this year. … We met at an expo in California, where I’m originally from. She gave me the opportunity to work with her here.”
When did you realize you were psychic? “Age of 4. … It’s a gift that runs in my family. It originated with my great-grandfather. My grandmother noticed it in me. She helped me control it and learn more about it.”

What was your first psychic feeling? “A teacher at the time, I kept seeing a beautiful pink color around her. I kept telling her, ‘You have this pink glow. I see you having a baby girl.’ She broke out in tears. She and her husband had been trying. I didn’t know. … A year later, maybe less, she gave birth to a baby girl.”
How’d that make you feel? “Very excited. I still am amazed by it.”
What are those moments like? “It’s a light switch I can turn on and off when I need to. I don’t want to walk on the street, be grocery shopping or running errands, and be hit by everyone’s emotions. … There are times when someone’s energy may be very strong, very compelling, that I can’t turn it off. Sometimes, there’s a message that I may have to tell that person, an energy, a scenario this person is going through.”
Why do you enjoy your work? “I love being able to help others. Helping others was and is a calling of mine. There have been multiple times God has worked through me to help others. … The sensation between me and the client had been so strong, so vibrant.”
What do you tell those who think this is fake? “It’s not for everyone, but it needs to be for everyone because everyone needs healing. … What we try to do here is to customize all types of healing. One cleansing won’t be the same as the last person. … People ask me how a cleansing will work. I don’t know until we actually start.”
What do you cleanse? “It depends on what they want to cleanse, what needs to be cleansed. We do their chakra, aura, energy. Past life cleansing is very popular. … We can have generational curses that come from past lives. Trauma. Worry. Stress.”
Have you saved someone’s life? “I would think so.”
Did you know you were going to have daughters when you were pregnant? “For my personal self, I’m not able to connect to anything. … Sometimes, we don’t want to know. It’s the element of surprise.”
What if someone wants to know when they will die? “We don’t predict death. Even if I wanted to, it’s not something I can reveal. I don’t want to.”
Any negatives? “The commute from Burbank. We are trying to move out here. … Some days are better than others. Is it draining? Yes, spiritually, emotionally. I have to protect my energy because there are people who come in here with negative energy. … I do get cleansed once a month.”
What’s that like? “Renewing. Refreshing. A pick-me-up.”
What are your prices? “The palm reading is $45. The tarot card reading is $55. We have two options for psychic. You can do half-life for $75 or full-life for $125. Full-life is more detailed.”
Is Naperville good for business? “Yes. We are on the main road, so we get a lot more business. … A lot of college kids come by. … We do private parties, corporate events.”
Have you ever been frightened doing a reading? “Multiple times.”
Ever sense evil? “Of course. Thank God, no potential killers or anything of that sort. … It’s life. Unfortunately, there are very cruel people in this world.”
What’s your advice for someone starting a business? “You definitely have to stay focused. Don’t allow others to push you around.”
