Do Democrats in Springfield, in what is nothing but a political show, believe voting for assault weapon legislation will comfort and convince Illinoisans they’re actually trying to protect us? Every single day, dozens of gun crimes are committed around us and result in either no one being apprehended or the thugs being released before the crime makes the 5 o’clock news. Whether it’s pointed, fired, or not, until everyone caught possessing an illegal gun is held, tried and appropriately imprisoned, no new law will make us safer.

What a joke this is with Pritzker saying how he’s going to make the state safer with his gun laws. What I’d like to ask them, how are you going to make us safe with the way you’re going to release criminals who do violent acts of crime and they’ll get out of jail with no bail or anything?

Jeff Regnier of Kee Firearms and Training should have used a better choice of words on the gun ban. Devastated is when a group of people get mowed down at a parade. He might be disappointed, yes, but why on God’s green earth do you need so many bullets firing it once? Choose better words next time.

To all of the stores that are using digital coupons, I have some words for you. First, I would like to ask what was wrong with the old school use of cutting out the coupon and giving it to the cashier. Next, you are assuming everyone knows how to go into their phones and give you the information needed to get the coupons and savings. The answer is they do not, so the line is held up until they fumble through their phone, sometimes for over five minutes. I like the old-fashioned way of getting a credit. Your digital coupon is not cutting the mustard with me.

I see Joe Biden finally made it to the border. But they cleaned it up before he got there because they knew cameras were going to be there. It was a dump before he got there. I want to see how it looks like now because it’s probably back to before, a mess, garbage and everything, blankets, homeless people, people crossing the border. He didn’t do anything.
