After four days and 15 roll call votes, we have a speaker in our House of Representatives. Democrats voted for the same man 100% of the time for all 15 votes. A Democrat in Congress does not need to think or have an opinion. The requirement is to do as you are told, join the swamp and retire very rich to your big house on the waterfront.

Republicans should be hanging their heads in shame right now, but since most of them are oblivious to the grievous imperfections in their party they are unable to do so. We witnessed for the first time in 100 years the failure of the majority party in the House to elect the speaker. Interestingly enough the last time it happened it was also when the Republicans were the majority in the house. This disorganized, dishonest party is coming apart at the seams so much so that like a cretin like George Santos is being cultivated because he provides the necessary vote.

The latest poll from Morning Consult shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and President Joe Biden with 42% each. If DeSantis is the chosen one, and he continues taking rights and freedoms away from Floridians in a feeble attempt to create his own Christian agenda, it will not only prove how out of touch he is nationally, but it will guarantee another Republican defeat in 2024.
