Bring back Pelosi
Once again the GOP proves that it is incapable of leading or governing. Since when does a leader beg his followers to make him a leader? McCarthy and the rest of the House GOP are such an embarrassment. Bring Pelosi back.
Liberal agenda
I don’t think it could more of an advertisement of the liberal, left-wing agenda of this newspaper than the front page article on Jan. 6. “Gen Z in the House,” was an interesting article that introduced two new 23-year-old Illinois state representatives to be sworn in as the youngest legislators to ever serve in Springfield. My issue is that the huge center picture was of the liberal Democratic candidate, while the smaller picture included in the article was of the conservative Christian Republican candidate. Oh, I suppose it’s because the Democrat is a minority, Muslim woman. Women are considered minority and the “in thing” right now. It would have been more “equitable” if the pictures were side by side, and the same size. But I am guessing that it is necessary to promote the left-wing, liberal agenda of the News-Sun/baiduhai any way it can be accomplished.
Whining Harry
Please, no more stories about the wealthy, privileged royals. Especially that whining Harry.
Corrupt swamp creature
It is admirable that 10% initially stood against Kevin McCarthy for House speaker. Unfortunately, later 15 caved to the pressure from do-nothing McCarthy. McCarthy is like Paul Ryan, lacking a backbone, and just another corrupt swamp creature. Maybe it would be a good thing if the House can’t start to govern, because every bill they pass is an abomination and terrible for the country.
Irresponsible gun owner
My heart breaks for that 9-year-old Chicago boy who recently shot himself. But I’m outraged at the adults who are hiding the weapon so the irresponsible gun owner can’t be prosecuted, and a dangerous weapon can’t be taken off the street.
Resign and go home
That Republican thing — what a bunch of garbage. What a pack of morons. Why don’t you guys all just resign and go home?
