Bigger fish to fry
To the old fart out there complaining about people still having their Christmas lights up in January: You are surely a retired, grumpy, ornery and self-loathing person. Have you forgotten those days of working hard and raising a family at the same time? Or maybe you didn’t work or have a family, and that’s why you’re so mean. Either way you have forgotten how to appreciate the spirit of Christmas. Appreciate the hard work these people did for everyone’s viewing pleasure. Enjoy the winter snow glistening under the Christmas lights in their yards. I say leave those damn Christmas lights up and on until the first day of spring. Good grief, stop your damn whining about everything you old coot, and live the rest of your life in peace and harmony. There are bigger fish to fry in this world.
Sneaky, corrupt
You talk about a sneaky, corrupt administration. Biden went to the border. I’m watching Fox News, because you’re not going to hear this on any other of those fake news channels, and they’re interviewing with the citizens. They brought in the National Guard that just got done cleaning up all the streets that Biden was going to be visiting. You talk about sneaky. Let the American people really see what’s going on in those border cities. You don’t run in, clean it up and then make the American people think, “Oh Fox News is just full of garbage.” Talk about corruption.
We’re praying for you
The event that unfolded during the NFL football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills is proof that America and Americans are great. The stadium’s 65,000 fans from both teams, and millions watched and prayed. Real men cried. America is great. We are Americans first, united, red, white and blue. We’re praying for you Damar Hamlin.
An utter mess
Instead of Biden hiring 87,000 IRS workers, he should have allocated funds for police. There are no police in Lake County anymore. I see none patrolling or monitoring traffic, let alone stopping anyone for wrongdoing. That is only on television. Crime is rampant, traffic is in mayhem and no one is being held accountable. Wake up Lake County, and insist on the police doing something other that sitting behind buildings or in the cafeterias at the police departments. Quit with the Trump rhetoric, and get this county back on track. It is an utter mess.

The recent obituary mentioning a dying wish to see Trump in jail was just hilarious. RIJ Trumpy. I also laugh at clever criticism of Biden. I cannot understand people that are so defensive about politicians who are some of the most corrupt people in America. They write laws to protect themselves for breaking the laws that, if we were to break them, we would be in jail. These people aren’t able to think for themselves, and rely on politicians to think for them.
Double standards
Biden wants to honor the victims of Jan. 6, so why not honor Ashli Babbit killed by Capitol police officer Michael Byrd, who was never held accountable. How about the 500-plus being held in the D.C. gulag, some who haven’t had a trial yet, and are being tortured. Did you know about them? Are BLM and Antifa members who held Portland hostage in the summer of 2020, going to jail? If the leftists didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all, as the saying goes.
