I’m seeing a Tribune headline, Biden toughens border restrictions. He would immediately begin turning away Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans. But what about the rest of them? Possible Russians, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan. All the bad ones. That’d be like saying, hey, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck, don’t come in here. Ted Bundy, come on down. You got to stop everybody and check them out.

Really nice that our cognitively challenged President Biden and his incompetent border czar Kamala Harris finally intend to travel to the Texas Southwest border. We have witnessed a massive Invasion with human and drug trafficking and the real cost to Americans is staggering. It’s time for Joe and Kamala to step down and resign. Thank you.

Years ago an ad had a Native American with tears as he looked at what was once sacred land covered with litter. It is disheartening to see a massive amounts of litter discarded at stop signs, expressway ramps and along streets and highways not to mention the birds and other animals killed and ran over as they search for food scraps. Money spent on cleaning could be better used for road repairs and beautification to protect the planet. Maybe we need an 11th commandment: thou shall not litter.

The recent Southtown article about Jesse White failed to mention the long lines and inefficiencies at driver’s license facilities, which existed for too many years under his administration.

People always used to complain about women’s perfume and men’s cologne smelling strong. The scented laundry products can be just as overpowering, or worse. A couple weeks ago, I stood in line behind a woman and her clothes stunk so bad of Downy or Snuggle. It was horrible.
