Republicans have often criticized government for gridlock and general ineptitude. Now, they have demonstrated they are the problem behind this inaction and ineptitude. They remind me of the guy who starts fights and then complains of all the violence. The real tail wagging the dog is the far right telling the majority what to do. Many even voted for a newly elected congressman to be their leader. Don’t blame government, blame those who hate government and those who voted for them.

Just a thought, I actually got tired of seeing all the posts before the midterm election about the cost of gas, milk, etc. Like gas before Biden $1.90, after Biden $7. Being a farmer, here is one that was never posted, but maybe you would like to know. Price of corn, soybeans and wheat the day Biden took office followed by the price today — corn $4.14-$6.70, soybeans $11.39-$14.87, wheat $5.71-$7.75. Not everything went in the same direction. One thing I can say is these prices are healthy for the American farmer.

I just want to say it’s been two years, but finally there is not an article in the newspaper about Donald Trump.

What did they call it? The Inflation Reduction Act? Just to name a few, $6 a dozen for eggs, chicken well over $5 a pound and another record rate hike request by Nicor. No matter how Washington or Springfield tries to spin it, inflation is nowhere near under control, prices are not even close to stabilizing yet alone coming down. Unless you’re making a bundle, a recession is just not on the horizon, it’s already here, with the finances and budgeting of millions on the verge of collapse.

To Bob from Oak Forest in reference to if Blacks would have stormed the Capitol the outcome would have been different. Blacks would not have gotten as far as the Capitol steps. Law enforcement would have stopped them. If Obama was president instead of Trump, he would have been impeached. Blacks have been put on the back side of history for years. Slowly, they are being given more rights. You call it benefit from that many government programs. Call it what you want. I say it was over 60 years in the making.
