Republican Congressman-elect George Santos completely fabricated his resume while running for Congress with countless lies. Having been caught, it has become clear Santos is a pathological liar, lacks any sense of Integrity and has no business serving in the United States Congress. I’m guessing Santos may have attended Trump University and cultivated his craft as a con artist all under the direction of the twice-impeached former president.

Regarding Ken from Burbank’s Dec. 30 opinion. Yes, the delayed gas tax will be in effect, now that elections are over. I, for one, do not want to hear complaints from those who voted for Gov. J.B. Pritzker or those who didn’t bother to vote. Not only did I vote, but I ran in a state representative race in hopes of making changes.

Joe Biden is the de facto illegitimate president of the United States. The corrupt FBI and Department of Justice meddled in a free and fair election by manipulating Twitter, Facebook and Google, that we know of. The suppression of information like Hunter Bidens affinity for crack and Russian prostitutes would have turned a lot of people off and away from Biden.

Donald Trump’s tax returns show he made a lot of money, but didn’t pay a lot of taxes because he took advantage of all of the loopholes in the tax laws passed by the very people who are releasing his tax returns. This makes him smart, not dumb. How about we now get to see the returns of Hunter Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Bennie Thompson and Chuck Schumer? Trump came to Washington rich. So many of these Democrats came poor, but have left rich. Wonder how that happened?

How wonderful to hear people giving during the Christmas season, children receiving gift cards, clothing toys and food giveaways. Back in the day, when I was raising my two children all by myself, the only thing I had going was Goldblatt’s and Sears. I would lay away my items in September and pay on them until December. Father Michael Pfleger gave away $50 gift certificates to anyone in line. Comparing yesterday to now is a blessing to those in need.
