Bunch of crooks
Listen to Fox News? Fox News is supposed to be entertainment, and doesn’t do a very good job of entertaining. Want the facts? Listen to real news on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN or PBS. These stations stick to facts, unlike Fox News. Biden is not corrupt. The former president and his pack of followers are a bunch of crooks. He spent his time in office making money off the presidency and cheating people. He was friends with dictators, and alienated our allies. Biden cares about all of us, not just like the rich like the former president. The United States needs a president like Joe Biden, who is honest and hardworking. We need someone in office who is not a self-centered jerk like the previous president. Keep up the good work, Joe Biden.
Lurking scum
I was happy to see the local gunfire epidemic making front-page news in Charles Selle’s recent column, but I think Mr. Selle was largely focusing on the wrong issue. AR-15-type weapons are a problem, no doubt. However, the nightly gun violence that is plaguing Waukegan, North Chicago and Zion doesn’t involve AR-15s. These thugs are using 9 mm handguns, many equipped with an inexpensive “switch” which converts these handguns to full automatic, capable of firing 30 rounds in three seconds. These shooters don’t have FOID cards, their weapons are illegally obtained, they aren’t member of the NRA and they don’t really know how to aim and shoot a weapon. They are the scum lurking beneath the thin veneer of civilization.
Time to donate
As we approach the end of the year, I want to remind readers about the importance of looking ahead to tax season. Now is the time to make donations to charities and other nonprofit organizations in order for them to count as deductions on your upcoming income tax filing, now through Dec. 31. If you don’t make those charitable donations, you may still end up paying out that money when filing your taxes. Long story short, would you like to choose where your money goes or do you trust the government to make the best decisions with your tax dollars?
Expecting free stuff
This holiday season has many giveaways of turkeys, meals, toys, clothing and other items. Does anybody check to see who is qualified for being needy or not? Can people just line up with their hand reaching out and grabbing what they want? Then, after receiving all of the gifts from donators, do they buy cigarettes, booze, lottery ticket and marijuana with their stash of cash? I would bet there is money for themselves all the time for the special habits. We are a society that is expecting the free stuff all the time.
Not worthy of being American
Why do politicians have to push the fact that they are Christian? Perhaps this is their agenda, to require everyone to become Christian as well otherwise you are not worthy of being an American.
Traitors to this country
So the House has now passed the $1.7 trillion, pork-filled, 2023 spending bill with the help of 9 RINOs, after McConnel and 17 Senate RINO’s passed this monstrosity. This abomination contains thousands of earmarks and many liberal boondoggles, but prohibits funding to secure our border while giving $410 million to secure foreign borders. The bill also increases funding for the totally corrupt Justice Department. The bill also reforms the Electoral Count Act. What is this doing in a spending bill? In short, the RINOs that voted for this are all traitors to this country. I used to donate money to the Republican Party, but never again. They just turn around and vote with the Democrats, so what is the point?

Nobody is saying being a Republican means you are in a cult. On the contrary, anyone from either political party following and worshipping someone as evil and manipulative like Trump is being brainwashed into a cultlike environment. Good grief, anyone in their right mind knows the man is pure hate. He is a narcissistic, and ungodly con artist. Unfortunately, those who support him to the point of allowing hate and violence to control their lives, that’s a cultlike environment.

I have read entries from many ignorant people on the far right and left on the political spectrum. But a recent writer that was critical of Dr. Fauci’s role in the pandemic, ranks as the dumbest by far. I hope you are too stupid to vote, and pray you don’t own an assault weapon.
