Battery
Tadeusz Kocaj, 70, of the 200 block of South Roselle Road, Roselle, was charged December 11 with battery near the first block of Raupp Boulevard. Kocaj is scheduled to appear in court December 27 in Waukegan.
Moving violation
Jorge Garcia Luna, 45, of the 400 block of 4th Street, Northfield, was charged December 10 with operating a vehicle on suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a suspended driver’s license and speeding 15 mph over the limit near the intersection of East Half Day Road and Apple Hill Lane. Garcia Luna is scheduled to appear in court January 20 in Mundelein.
DUI
Tsolmon Odon, 29, of the first block of Oak Creek Drive, was charged December 9 with driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting or obstructing the peace officer and operating a motor vehicle with no valid license, permit, or restricted driving permit at the Dundee Road and Vernon Lane. Odon is scheduled to appear in court January 19 in Rolling Meadows.
Theft
There was a report of retail theft on December 13 in the 1300 block of West Dundee Road.
Vandalism
Three separate public nuisance complaints–vandalism were reported December 12 near Gail Drive. Residents reported graffiti on the walking path. Spray painted were obscene images and racial epithets.
